Getting a child ready for salah should take seconds, and this one-piece design does exactly that. The dress and hijab are joined as a single garment, so there is nothing to pin, tie or hunt for at prayer time — she simply steps in, pulls the hood over her head, and she is covered. The colour is a warm camel beige, soft and unfussy, lifted by a band of black and white geometric braid trim that sweeps across the yoke and frames the face. The fabric is a smooth, lightly stretchy jersey with a matte finish: gentle against the skin, fully opaque, and light enough that she will not overheat halfway through. It falls in a full A-line from the yoke to the floor with long sleeves and plenty of room to bow and prostrate comfortably, and the knit gives rather than pulls as she moves.
